Today we took Olivia to pick up her new hand splints. We were also supposed to be picking up resting hand splints as well as elbow splints. Neither of those two were the best product for Olivia, so we returned them, and are looking for better options. The splints we did get are similar to what a person would get if they sprained their wrist. She's had this style before, but needed a larger size. I'm thankful that we have something, since her left wrist seems to be very tight. I really should call to set up another Botox appointment, but it's after 4, and I can't do that today. I'll add it to my list.
As for Olivia's appointments, she is scheduled to have an Upper GI Fluroscopy done on Thursday, September 8 at 2 p.m. The following Tuesday, the 12th, she'll have her surgical consult to have the GI tube placed. That appointment is also at 2 p.m.
We all fared Hurricane Irene fairly well. We were without power for 41 hours. We have some great friends & neighbors that helped us out in many ways. Thanks! -You know who you are! ;)
