Christmas Eve there was a Children's service at 10 a.m. Our family went to see Robin participate as a reader. Once we got there, they had halos for all of the children. It was a fun service, for which there was no dress-rehearsal, and the kids did a great job. The grown-ups in the show (the song director & the pastor) literally guided, sometimes by hand, the kids to their places and did some commentary, which added to the fun!
Christmas day was quite enjoyable. I hope to get a short video clip of Olivia laughing on here, but that will be a few days since Dave has to help me edit the Video camera movie to get that. Please bug me until I get it up.
We drove to Pennsylvania on Friday, arriving in West Freedom at 2 p.m. The trip wasn't too bad, but I could tell Olivia wasn't too comfortable in her seat. The way back to MD was a little worse. Thankfully we gave her motrin, which seemed to help.
A friend that I knew in Maine will be helping us out on the 5th for childcare. She now lives in the DC area and has grown children, so when I called to ask her for help, she was glad to.
We're all catching up on sleep around here, so I'm going to bed early as well. Good night, all!
Hi there Evan's Family! Just catching up on all the blogs you have posted. Know you are all in our prayers with Olivia's upcoming surgery! It is wonderful to see her smile in some of the pictures! My heart breaks when you mention she is crying! Give hugs to her from us and to Jack and Robin too!
