Trying to post again from my phone. Not sure why it didn't work from the hospital, but hopefully this will come through. (It did not work, so I'm editing the post via the internet.)
Olivia has been up for 3 hours vomiting. It is similar to what she was doing the night before her surgery was postponed. I spoke to the on-call doctor at the base and he recommended that I give her Zofran to stop the vomiting and enable us to give her the pain meds. He also recommended getting a prescription for Phenergan to have on hand.
Although there are many reasons she could be vomiting, our gut feeling is that this is environmental allergy related. I will begin an intense pursuit beginning with some phone calls in about an hour.
Please pray for wisdom, patience, and discernment. This is a very complex puzzle.
